In this workshop, self-expression is central to our journey of becoming one with the work, allowing us to craft a massage that is diverse, flexible, and adaptable to the unique needs of the individual receiving it. The Hartono Massage offers mutual well-being, encouraging a deep connection through movement techniques that enhance fluidity and balance between gentle and powerful touch. We will learn to trust our inner perception, intuitively and lovingly responding to the needs of others. This intensive one-day workshop is designed to inspire confidence and joy in giving a full-body massage. You will be guided by your own movements, discovering nurturing strokes, grips, and sequences that regenerate fascia and loosen muscles in depth. Through playful exploration of different rhythms and frequencies, we’ll deepen our understanding of how to create harmony between our movements and the energy of the person receiving the massage. The primary focus is on how to wisely operate your body in energy work that promotes balance. We will practice a variety of techniques, using our arms, elbows, forearms, hands, and fingertips, while learning to shift our weight in harmony. After completing this workshop, you are welcome to continue and deepen your practice in future sessions. Each subsequent workshop will build on the foundation established, introducing a wider range of knowledge and techniques. This individually personalised workshop is open to everyone whether you are simply curious or eager to further develop the healing potential of your body. The profound methods shared in this workshop draw from my experiences in dance, martial arts, and bodywork.
